Puglia Restaurant has made history in Little Italy. From a basement eatery to a popular restaurant, we have never failed to ignite the appetite in each of our guests. In 1919 Gregorio Garofalo arrived from Puglia, a region in Southern Italy, to begin his American dream. He rented a basement, put in his coal stoves and sprinkled sawdust on the floor. With his knowledge of creating homemade wines and his passion for cooking, Gregorio's dream began and Puglia Restaurant was born. In no time at all, people came from great distances to indulge in the delicacies Gregorio prepared and the friendly service he offered, treating all guests like a member of his own family. After three generations, Puglia Restaurant is still making history with its authentic Italian dishes. Puglia Restaurant thanks you for making Gregorio's dream a reality. Visit us the next time you're in Little Italy!
