A classic layout that offers challenges to the best players, while at the same time offering a venue for all to play! The front nine meanders alongside Longfellow Creek. It has relatively flat terrain and plays to a par of 37. The back nine plays much more difficult to par(35) than the front despite being almost 300 yards shorter. You will experience countless uneven lies as the back nine is very hilly and it is the most affected part of the course when the afternoon winds pick up. It boasts the most incredible views from several holes of downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay. Come and experience a bit of Seattle's golf history at West Seattle Golf Course. "West Seattle's back side is probably one of the most beautiful nines you'll see anywhere." - Rich Beem, Winner of the 2002 PGA Championship Home of the Seattle Amateur Championship

I consider West Seattle to be the best of city-owned municipal courses within a 30-mile range. Continual improvements, great greens and a layout with some very challenging holes make this the best...

Good course for being right in the middle of a city. Impressive. Every time I've played my round has been cut short due to the onset of darkness, so I can't review the last 3-4 holes. But I've always...

I'll always consider West Seattle to be my home course. They keep it in great shape for a public course... I usually play here 6 times a year. I'd play it more often if I didn't live in Issaquah......

I am a true West Seattle Golf fan. I love this short Golf course. It is short yet challenging. Great view of the City and some of the holes are pretty tricky. I love this place.

I've played this course for 35 years. It's not US Open quality, but great value for what you pay, great scenery, and it's a challenge. Kind of boring (and Hilly) after 14, but overall it's a lot of...

Great Muni course with views of the Seattle skyline from mostly tight greens nestled between thick trees and foliage. I'm still pretty much a beginner, lucky to shoot 100, and this place kicked my...

The first tee is a Par 5. Imagine that challenge; especially in light of the fact they don't have a driving range. There are two practice putting greens, and you are allowed to even chip. This course is well...

West Seattle is the best public golf course in Seattle by a landslide. Some of the holes on the back nine rival those on private courses. Sometimes a bit crowded.
